It is with sadness that I report the passing of Mrs. Francis Primus of Augusta, Unit 505, she was the secretary for many years of Unit.  Please send cards to her granddaughter, LaRhonda Primus, 1255 Hernlen St., Augusta, Ga. 30901.

It is with great regret that I report the passing of Katheryn Sheffield due to cancer, she was a long time member of Unit 264 Mableton.  Please send cards to her son Mr. Stephen Sheffield, 169 Hill Top Cir., Mableton, Ga. 31026.

Inez Feeney Ecton, passed away at 83, she belonged to Unit 172 Warner Robins where she was the Past Unit and Sixth District president. She was known for her volunteer work with the Special Olympics.   Cards can be sent to her daughter, Pat Morris, 602 Oakview Square, Warner Robins, Ga. 31093.

Our Past Department President Bridget Beck has been in Gainesville hospital, she had to have a heart cath, please keep her in your prayers for a quick recovery, please send cards to 448 Virgil Hunt Rd., Cleveland, Ga. 30528.

It is with sadness that I report the passing of Ella Mae Williamson, member of Unit 248 McCayesville, passed away Sunday Nov. 9th, her husband is a long time member of the American Legion. Please keep her husband and family in your prayers, sorry I didn't receive an address to send cards.

Linda Shockley of Hapeville Unit 147 of the American Legion Auxiliary and a past Fourth District President had a knee replacement this morning. Everything went well in surgery. If she does okay she will go home on Saturday. She is in the hospital at:

It is with sadness that we report the passing of Department Assistant Sergeant-at-Arms Jerry Parker, the husband of our Past Department

President Bevery Parker. Jerry passed away the afternoon of Wednesday, November 5^th.

Viewing and visitation will be on Friday, November 7, 2008 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at
